It’s July now and I have had lots more time to get into some new bands and find way more people online. A couple of bands I am way into right now are Say Anything and The New Amsterdams. Say Anything is about to blow up. I can feel it. They had a good hit with “Wow, I Can Get Sexual Too”, although, I thought that the video was really weak. It didn’t do the song justice at all. I ran a people search on Max Bemis, the lead singer, because he is so freaking awesome (and insane). If you remember the Get Up Kids, then you’ll love The New Amsterdams, Matthew Pryor’s side band. Worse for the Wear is a great album, but Story Like a Scar is good too.

I found a couple cool new sites that will help you guys find people online. When I am not listening to music, I am always trying to find someone. Usually I use people search engines, but these websites have broadened my horizons.

Hey everyone! I’m back. I’ve got lots of fun stuff for you to check out too. First off, I have three new bands I have discovered recently that I think you all should check out. They are Architecture in Helsinki, Art Brut, and Fiery Furnaces (which is my favorite of the three). Speaking of Helsinki, my buddy is reading a paper there for a linguistics conference right now. Cool, huh? (Go, JOHN! Kick Umberto Eco’s ASS!)

Anyway, um, so “about me” I suppose should be the order of the day. I love going to concerts (I try to go see live music at least once a week). I love cooking, but have the smallest kitchen in the world (so I don’t get to do it too often). I am a worker bee currently, but I want to go back and finish my Master’s sometime before the end of this decade. I spend a lot of time online - especially at these two websites:

They are wonderful! With their help I found most of my old high school buddies for our five year high school reunion, but that’s not all you can do there. You can do background checks, search public records, do a person search, look up unlisted numbers, and a lot of other stuff too. It’s the easiest way I know to find a person online via a person search engine. So… if there’s someone you need to find, give it a try.
